Day 1: Joburg-based runners depart at 07h50 am from O.R Tambo airport on Kulula flight MN909 to George. Arrive at 09h45, jump into our rented buses. Drive to Oudshoorn, and on to De Rust. Enter the Meiringspoort pass. Stop and disembark near the top of the pass. Our first run will be a 10km run on tar through the poort, alongside a rushing stream. 
Back into the bus, and travel to Prince Albert. Overnight at Swartberg Hotel, and and enjoy the special Karoo town. Hopefully have dinner at Bokkie’s Restaurant (Joni's friend).
